I was at a craft market the other day when I overheard a lady behind me complaining about how expensive things were and how she couldn’t afford to get what she wanted.
I could feel her vibration and it was contracted with a lot of fear and scarcity energy.
Then not long afterwards I heard another person say how wonderful and easily affordable everything was, and their energy felt expanded, high vibe and positive.
The joys of being an empath I can feel and read people’s energies. That’s why I’m not a big fan of crowds! Gets energetically intense! lol
Now you might be thinking the second person must have had a lot of money and the first person didn’t hence the different responses to the prices of things, and whether this was true or not from an energetic perspective something else was actually going on.
When you say something is expensive what you’re actually saying from an energetic/vibrational perspective is “I am not willing to expand and circulate my energy.”
The Angels of Abundance taught me once that expensive is another word for expansion. And money, wealth and abundance are all extensions of your energy flow and where you choose to circulate, exchange and expand your energy.
So when you go to buy something from someone you are opening up an exchange of energy with that person and circulating more energy = more abundance.
But if you are like the lady at the market and spend your days complaining to the cosmic energy field of creation (a.k.a The Universe) “I can’t afford this, I’ll never have this, it’s all too expensive.” Then what you are saying from an energetic perspective is “I am not willing to expand and circulate my energy.”
In each moment you are either choosing to expand or contract your energy by the thoughts you choose to believe in.
When you believe in lack, scarcity, not enoughness, everything is expensive vibes you are pinching off your energy flow and lowering your vibration, and the Universe will just keep sending you more of what you are emitting vibrationally, so contracted energy attracts lack and expansive energy attracts abundance.
When you stop reacting to external conditions, the amount of money in your bank account, or the prices of things and instead harness your thoughts and emotions to consciously focus on creating an abundant, appreciative, attitude of gratitude mindset you are planting seeds of abundance and vibrationally asking for more prosperity, and in response the universe will send you more money, abundance and prosperity.
The universe is SUPER NEUTRAL it will just keep delivering to you what you’re emitting.
Regardless of current external conditions right now, in this present moment you have the choice to plant seeds (thoughts) of abundance or scarcity because the seeds you plant today will determine the harvest (manifestations) you reap down the line.
So next time you catch yourself contracting your energy with the false belief “it’s too expensive” change it to – “I have more than enough money (a.k.a energy) to purchase this wonderful product/service for myself. I joyously give money to this person providing me with this wonderful product/service, may it bless their lives and work and expand us both into more love and abundance. Thank you and so it is.”
And even if you don’t actually buy the product/service or have the funds on hand in that moment, affirming a more high vibe positive statement as if you can afford it or have it is planting seeds of abundance in the present moment.
Sometimes you may be presently surprised how down the road the Universe delivers you the money so you can actually buy or invest in what you want or it comes to you through some other means or person.
So from an energetic perspective nothing is ever too expensive, it’s just another frequency of energy, a level of energetic investment you’re not willing to or ready to expand into.
And that’s ok too, you get to decide where you want to expand and circulate your energy.
A quick side note story:
I’ve personally witnessed the “it’s too expensive” story play out in my high end work where some people would balk at my prices and it would trigger their fear and scarcity beliefs, and rather then expand they’d contract and runaway whereas others, even people with less money, would light up with joy and ask me for my bank account details to send me the money, because they were ready to expand and play at a new level.
Over the years I’ve learned to not take it personally when someone thinks my product/service is expensive because how someone responds to your work and your prices isn’t actually about you and your work but where they are at energetically right now and their personal perceptions of things.
So if you are someone who has been on the receiving end of “it’s too expensive” from people about your potent work, you keep showing up, sharing your work and charging the prices that feel aligned, expansive and juicy for you!
Never lower your vibration/prices to keep other people comfortable, stay with what feels good for you and you will attract the right people who love to pay you, and repel the ones who won’t.
And next time you hear someone say “it’s too expensive!” You can smile and think to yourself “bless, they don’t want to expand and circulate their energy into more abundance and that’s ok.”
