I’ll never forget several years ago I was out at a function having a great time, meeting new people and a group of people I’d never met before asked me what I did for a living.
I openly and honestly told them I was an energy healer that channeled healing advice and guidance from Angels for people.
I believe one guy choked on his drink, another looked at me like I was a nut job and everyone suddenly felt uncomfortable and made excuses to go somewhere else.
I stood there on the dance floor feeling a bit stupid.
My work at the time with Angels, being a healer and spending most of my time with other spiritual people was my normal and I would often forget that the majority of the world didn’t get or understand the stuff I did for a living, it wasn’t even in their scope of reality.
In the beginning these sorts of reactions from people would hurt.
I’d start to question myself.
I’d start to think maybe I should just get a “normal” society accepted job.
I should stop telling people who I was and what I did for a living.
But then I realized just me being me, me being honest, showing up, sharing my quirkiness and gifts with the world was my purpose, my job, I loved it and I didn’t want to be or do anything else, regardless of what others may or may not think.
I got to work with and help amazing souls, people who I consider to be my soul tribe, the people I was here to serve and support and I am still here for. The rebels, the change makers, the visionaries, the witches, the wizards, the quirky, the artists, I love these people because they don’t do normal.
We are not here for normal.
We are here to create and birth new things, new ways of being, doing, living, and creating. We were not born to fit into the norms of society and live our lives trying to be seen and accepted by people who would never even get us let alone accept us.
Who you are, your quirkiness, your natural gifts, your ideas, your creativity is your purpose is your reason for being here, God made you perfect just the way you are and when you honor all aspects of you and you -
Stop hiding.
Stop playing small.
Stop dimming your light so others feel comfortable.
Stop trying to be accepted by people who will never understand or accept you.
And you say F*** the rules and you start to show up and share who you uniquely are with the world, you open up the channels for prosperity, for divine opportunities, and magnetize the people who love you, love to work with you and love to pay you.
You are here for a reason, gorgeous, stop hiding your beautiful self from the world and the unique gifts God gave you to share with others and to create great wealth with.
All is well.
It’s time to stop hiding and start shining!
